In May of 1997, Remember the Maine Gift Shoppe opened it's doors for business to offer their customers an assortment of gifts from America's favorite Diner ~ THE MAINE DINER!!! Since opening day on May 1rst of 1997, Remember the Maine has grown to include gifts not only from the Maine Diner, but Maine memorabilia, collectibles, postcards, gourmet food and so much more!!! We have something for EVERYONE!!
Prior to the opening of the gift shop, the building served as a home to the Henry brothers and their families. After 10 some odd years of residence, Dick, his wife Sally and their two children moved out and a construction crew moved in! Walls came down, carpet came up, new windows were installed, custom shelves built, a cash register added and voila! ~ Remember the Maine Gift Shoppe came to fruition!
Remember the Maine is proud to carry a large selection of Maine Diner T-shirts & Sweatshirts, Diner mugs, Maine Diner Gourmet food (especially the famous Corn Muffin Mix!) among many other nationally recognized product lines like Village Candle, Cape Shore & Demdaco's Willow Tree.
